In order to cope with extensive spam I started using reCAPTCHA for registration and comment forms. Hope this helps (and does not prevent billions of real users from signing up!).

Milestone running on 2.2.1

Well, I know it is about 2 months ago that I posted a status update. That’s all I gotta say about that. Anyway, I just wanted to confirm that Android 2.2(.1) a.k.a. Froyo runs absolutely stable on my MM. I’m using the build the guys from G.O.T. contributed to the community. The only issue I can confirm is that WiFi seems to fall asleep every once in a while and Facebook-contact-synchronization doesn’t work. Considering that the build is nothing more than a leaked early testbuild, two issues is not that bad, isn’t it?

.. ist ein 1979 von Bob Geldof geschriebenes Musikstück. Es war der größte Hit der Band The Boomtown Rats, enthalten auf ihrem Album The Fine Art of Surfacing.

Inspiriert wurde Geldof durch den Ausspruch der damals 16-jährigen Brenda Ann Spencer, die am 29. Januar 1979, einem Montag, aus dem Fenster ihres Schlafzimmers auf dem gegenüberliegenden Schulhof der Grover Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego den Schulleiter und den Hausmeister mit einem halbautomatischen Gewehr tötete und einen Polizisten und acht Schüler verletzte. Als Begründung für ihre Tat gab sie einem Journalisten am Telefon und der Polizei bei der Verhaftung die Antwort: “I don’t like Mondays. This livens up the day.” („Ich mag keine Montage. Dies belebt den Tag.“)

Just saw the flick ‘Inception’ at the movies and I’m not surprised to say that this is definetely a candidate for the best movie in 2010. I had pretty high expectations and after seeing it, they are even excelled. Impressive idea (one of the best ideas in the last years), great story, good actors, another time a stunning soundtrack – Hans Zimmer, nothing left to say. So cutting a long story short – it is a must-see.
